Disclosed are a modular wall surface and a decoration method. The modular wall surface comprises: a decoration assembly for a wall (100), the decoration assembly comprising an installation layer (102) and a decoration layer (103) arranged on the installation layer (102); a keel support device (101), the keel support device (101) being used for fixing to the wall (100); and a connecting structure, wherein the connecting structure is arranged between the installation layer (102) of the decoration assembly for the wall (100) and the keel support device (101), and the installation layer (102) is connected to the keel support device (101) via a fixing member. The modular wall surface and the decoration method can simplify a construction process, increase construction speed, and avoid environmental pollution or decoration waste.
