Abstract:
Disclosed are a modularized garment manufacturing method for small batch production of garments of many kinds and a manufacturing system therefor. Input graphic data on the shape of an ordered garment is analyzed, and multiple basic components to form the ordered garment are generated. Basic patterns according to sizes for the ordered garment are generated for each of multiple basic components. The multiple basic patterns are compared in similarity with reference garment patterns stored in a garment pattern database, and the pattern category of each of the multiple basic patterns is determined. Work modules subdivided for each of the multiple basic patterns are determined on the basis of results of pattern category determination of the multiple basic patterns and information on a garment production line being currently in operation. The structure of a modularized garment manufacturing process line, including module process lines for manufacture of the determined work modules, and a sewing process line for finishing manufacturing the ordered garment by sewing basic pattern parts manufactured in each of the module process lines, is designed on the basis of operation information of the garment production line.
