Title:
MODULATION PATTERN CALCULATION DEVICE, LIGHT CONTROL DEVICE, MODULATION PATTERN CALCULATION METHOD, MODULATION PATTERN CALCULATION PROGRAM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/185979
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a modulation pattern calculation device 20 in which an iterative Fourier transform unit 22a performs a Fourier transform on a waveform function including an intensity spectrum function and a phase spectrum function, performs substitution of a temporal intensity waveform function based on a desired waveform after the Fourier transform, and subsequently performs a reverse Fourier transform. The iterative Fourier transform unit 22a performs substitution using the result of multiplying a function representing a desired waveform by a coefficient. The value of the coefficient is such that the difference between the function after multiplication and the temporal intensity waveform function after the Fourier transform is smaller than prior to multiplication of the coefficient. As a result, it is possible to obtain a modulation pattern calculation device, a light control device, a modulation pattern calculation method, and a modulation pattern calculation program that minimize derivation from a local solution during iterative Fourier calculation and thereby make it possible to accurately calculate a phase spectrum or an intensity spectrum for bringing the temporal waveform of light closer to a desired waveform.
