Abstract:
A ΔΣ modulator that comprises: a loop filter to which a baseband signal is applied; a first frequency converter that performs a frequency conversion on output from the loop filter; a first quantizer that quantizes output from the first frequency converter; a second frequency converter that performs a frequency conversion on output from the first quantizer; and a second quantizer that quantizes a local signal that is used by the first frequency converter. The second frequency converter performs the frequency conversion such that the frequency conversion performed by the first frequency converter is inversely converted. The first frequency converter performs the frequency conversion for the loop filter on the basis of output from the second quantizer.
