This module driving device (100) comprises: a module holding body (2); a coupling member (3) coupled to the module holding body (2) such that the module holding body (2) is able to swing around a third rotational axis (RX3) intersecting an optical axis direction; a base member (8) coupled to the coupling member (3) such that the coupling member (3) is able to swing around a second rotational axis (RX2); and a driving unit (DM) for moving the module holding body (2) with respect to the base member (8). The module holding body (2) and the coupling member (3) are coupled to each other by means of two first rotating bodies (Q1), which are arranged opposing one another with the optical axis (OA) therebetween, and the module holding body (2) and the coupling member (3), which are coupled to each other by means of the first rotating bodies (Q1), are configured so as to be able to rotate relative to each other around the optical axis (OA).
