A moisture-absorbing material that comprises a support which comprises a resin having moisture permeability and in which at least one surface thereof has recesses and protrusions, a moisture-absorbing layer disposed in the recesses in at least one surface of the support, and a moisture-barrier layer disposed over the surface of the support where the moisture-absorbing layer has been disposed.
