Abstract:
Provided is a moisture-permeable and water-proof fabric which has a practically available tear strength and yet is lightweight and thin, has a good texture and shows an excellent moisture-permeation performance and a high water-proofness.
A moisture-permeable and water-proof fabric having two urethane resin layers that are laminated on at least one face of a woven material, characterized in that the first urethane resin layer is a porous urethane resin layer which is discontinuously laminated on the surface of the woven material in such a manner to stuff valleys of weaving crimps but not cover at least a part of peaks of the weaving crimps, and the second urethane resin layer is a hydrophilic urethane resin layer which is continuously laminated on the first urethane resin layer as described above and the peaks of the weaving crimps.
