Description:
MOLD ASSEMBLY WITH DOUBLE PRESSED

Technical Field

The invention relates to the mold assembly with double pressed used in the pressing of the product in the shaping process, which is one of the stages of porcelain plate production.

Background of the Invention

Porcelain is a material produced only from raw materials of natural origin. It gets its whiteness not from the dyes used, but from the raw materials used; It is hardened by cooking at around 1400 °C; It has light transmittance and is a healthy product.

Porcelain; It is a member of the large ceramic group consisting of products made of raw materials, all of which are made of clay soil or, in other words, clay containing raw materials. The first and most primitive products of the ceramic group are mud bricks or mud bricks. At this stage, it is simple, coarse ceramics. Then, according to the order of production stages, earthenware pottery, majorka tile (elvan tile), tiles, stoneware, carved stoneware, ceramics come, and this group reaches its highest and most perfect form with porcelain. Pottery is the dough obtained from clay soil by baking at a temperature of several hundred degrees. Chronologically, the next stage is porcelain, which started to be developed in China after the 7th century. Traditionally, porcelain is made by firing two types of clay, Chinese clay (kaolin) and Chinese stone, at a temperature above 1300 °C. Unlike pottery, it is vitrified (glassy) and transparent. Examples of the most well-known types of porcelain are decorative Chinese work, dental crowns, and electrical insulators.

Today, two types of porcelain produced as home and hotel group can be mentioned. Home porcelains are porcelains that transmit light when exposed to daylight. The hotel group, on the other hand, is produced thicker in accordance with world standards. When held up to a lamp, they can be seen to transmit light. Today, restaurants serve by preheating the plate in order to keep the temperature of the food placed inside. If the plate is thick, it will keep the temperature longer and add pleasure to the taste of the food.

Porcelain is divided into two as hard and soft porcelain, according to the ratio of raw materials and temperature degrees. The most important feature of hard porcelain is the high kaolin content and the feldspar secret formed at a high temperature of 1400 °C. This creates surface hardness and durability in the glaze. The kaolin ratio of soft porcelain is low, and the glaze formation temperature is also lower. Therefore, it has less mechanical hardness and impact resistance than hard porcelain.

Although it looks like a unified whole, it is difficult to give a precise scientific definition of the term "porcelain" because it forms a compound body in its internal structure. Porcelains are physically fluorescent, translucent and opalescent ceramics. In other words, in the group of ceramics, emitting light that can be seen under ultraviolet; transparent; Materials that give blue color under reflected light and orange-yellow color under transmitted light are called porcelain.

Porcelains are produced from kaolin, quartz and feldspar materials. Kaolin is the raw material that provides easy kneading, shaping and color of porcelain dough. Quartz, on the other hand, is a skeletal raw material and dissolves in feldspar, which provides the formation of the glassy phase, at a significant rate, making the porcelain paste hard, glassy, resistant to heat and chemical effects.

In the shaping process, which is one of the stages of porcelain plate production, the pressing of the product stands out as one of the most important stages. In current applications, the pressing process is limited to 1 piece.

When two separate forms cannot be centered on a single mold in order to produce double plates, thickness differences occur on the products. This means that a standard product cannot be produced.

Regarding the subject in the patent application numbered TR 2010/09451 in the literature, “The invention is a porcelain plate that provides the correction of cracks, fractures and deformities on the edges of round and porcelain-based dishes of all sizes and, while doing this, bringing the diameter of the plate to the desired size, shaving and cutting by grinding. It's about the machine for cutting and trimming the edges.” statements are included.

In the mentioned application, the machine that provides the correction of deformities in the production of porcelain dishes is disclosed.

Again, in the utility model application numbered CN212241476 in the literature, " The utility model discloses a porcelain insulator blank mould pressing device which comprises a workbench, supporting columns are symmetrically arranged on the workbench, the ends, away from the workbench, of the supporting columns are fixedly connected with an air cylinder through a cross beam, a piston rod of the air cylinder is fixedly connected with an upper mould, the upper mould is connected with the supporting columns in a sliding mode, and the upper mould is movably connected with an air injection mechanism. The workbench is fixedly connected with a lower die, and the upper die and thelower die are arranged in a matched mode. The porcelain insulator blank mould pressing device is simple in structure, convenient to operate and scientific and reasonable in design, can realize cleaning work of automatic air injection in the mould pressing process, increases resource utilization of the device, improves cleanliness of insulator blank production and processing, and improves production efficiency. Meanwhile, the device can provide a certain buffer effect for mold pressing work, damage to insulator blanks due to overlarge pressure of the upper mold is avoided, the machining quality of products is improved, and the device is suitable for being popularized in a suitable range.” statements are included.

In the mentioned application, porcelain pressing machine is disclosed.

Again in the literature, in the US patent application numbered US4128375A, " The rigid top pressing punch of a press for producing plates or the like is shaped in accordance with the inner shape of the plate or the like to be produced. An elastic membrane, which establishes the top boundary, i.e., closes the cavity of a mold, is held at its edge shaped to the dimensions of the eventual plate, and is provided with an annular groove corresponding to the foot of the plate. Pulverulent porcelain composition is distributed on the membrane in the area determined by the edge having the holding action structure. The cavity defined by the membrane is filled with a pressure medium. After lowering the pressing punch, pressure can be applied through the pressure medium to the pulverulent porcelain composition distributed on the membrane in a pressing position. The elastic membrane in its relaxed position corresponds to the shape of the lower surface of the plate or the like, is made with an even, minimum thickness over substantially its whole area and has sufficient inherent strength. It can be deformed into a filling position for filling and can be returned into its relaxed starting position during the pressing operation by causing hydrostatic pressure to act against its lower surface.” statements are included.

In the mentioned application, the pressing device used in porcelain production is explained.

Due to the disadvantages mentioned above, it was necessary to introduce a mold assembly with double pressed.
