Abstract:
An in-mold coating method, which comprises a reaction injection molding step wherein a molding material is reacted in a cavity (28) formed inside a mold (20) by clamping a cavity mold (26) and a core mold (24) of the mold (20) to prepare a molded product, a gas splaying step, being carried out after the above reaction injection molding step, wherein a gas is sprayed into the cavity (28) through a gas introduction hole (264) provided in the above cavity mold (26), and a coating film forming step, being carried out after the above gas splaying step, wherein a coating agent is injected into a first gap (G) formed between the above molded article and the inner surface (262) of the above cavity mold (26) and then cured, to form a coating film on the above molded article. The above in-mold coating method is free from the cause of a coating defect on the surface of a molded article.
