Abstract:

A mold (1) for manufacturing a honeycomb structure (H) having a plurality of cell density regions (H11) and (H21) and an annular boundary wall (H3) has a honeycomb-shaped slit part (3) opened into an extrusion surface (13) of a single mold body (11), the honeycomb-shaped slit part (3) being composed of a plurality of cell slits (31) and (32) forming the plurality of cell density regions and an annular boundary slit (33) forming the boundary wall. In adjacent cell slits (31c) and (32c) adjacent to the boundary slit among the plurality of cell slits, all corner parts (C) formed by the adjacent cell slits and the boundary slit have an R-shape.
