Abstract:
Provided is a mold manufacturing method comprising a step (S11) in which a glass mold formed using a glass material is prepared as a molding mold for manufacturing an optical member having a convex defocusing section on at least one optical surface, and a step (S12) in which a formation surface of the optical surface of the glass mold is irradiated with a short pulsed laser beam, thus forming a concave section corresponding to the defocusing section.
