Abstract:
One of the objectives of the present invention is to provide a mold that is for a vessel with a handle and that can produce a vessel with a handle such that the handle does not separate easily. A vessel with a handle is produced such that the handle (5) is disposed at a handle disposing section (6) and the handle (5) is engaged to a portion of the vessel by means of a preform having the shape of a cylinder with a bottom being inserted into the cavity of the mold and then performing blow molding. The present invention is provided with: an inner wall surface (3a) forming the outer shape of the vessel; and a compression member (11) that forms the handle engagement section that engages the handle (5) at a portion of the vessel. The configuration is such that the compression member (11) can move between a first position that is a position to the outside of the inner wall surface (3a) and a second position that forms a portion of the inner wall surface (3a).
