Abstract:
This mold, for forming multiple openings in an active substance layer of a battery electrode, comprises a flat plate part formed from a metal with a hardness less than or equal to HV 650, and multiple frustum-shape projections made from the same metal as the material of the flat plate part and integrally formed so as to project from the surface of the flat plate part, wherein each of the multiple projections has an inclined side surface inclined 5-20° to the direction orthogonal to the surface of the flat plate part, and the surface area of the top surface located at the tip is greater than or equal to 20 μm2.
