Abstract:
Provided is a molded article for plumbing which is capable of suppressing the molecular cleavage of polyamides due to the generation of radicals caused by chlorine-based oxidative substances included in tap water for sterilization, and thus is capable of suppressing a reduction in the performance of the molded article. This molded article for plumbing comprises a resin composition that contains 10-200 parts by mass of an inorganic filler (B) and 0.1-2.0 parts by mass of a phenol-based antioxidant (C) with respect to 100 parts by mass of a semi-aromatic polyamide (A), wherein the semi-aromatic polyamide (A) includes a dicarboxylic acid unit in which an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit is the main component, and a diamine unit in which an aliphatic diamine unit is the main component, and the phenolic antioxidant (C) has a structure represented by formula (1) in the molecule. (In formula (1), ** indicates a bond.)
