Abstract:
Disclosed is a molded carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (molded CFRP) (1) which comprises a plurality of carbon fiber layers (2) each comprising carbon fibers, a resinous object (3) in which the carbon fiber layers (2) have been embedded, and pins (5) which have been inserted into a plurality of holes (4) and affixed, the holes (4) having been formed in the resinous object (3) so as to extend through the carbon fiber layers (2). Since the pins (5) in the molded CFRP (1) have been inserted into the plurality of holes (4), which have been formed in the resinous object (3) so as to extend through the carbon fiber layers (2), and affixed, the interlaminar toughness of the molded CFRP (1) can be improved.
