Abstract:
A surface fastener (1) has resin intrusion prevention walls (4) of foam resin material for molding a cushion body, respectively, at the right and left side edges in the longitudinal direction on the surface of a planar base (2) consisting of thermoplastic resin. An engaging element formation region (9), having a large number of molded engaging elements (3), exists between the right and left resin intrusion prevention walls (4). In the engaging element formation region (9), metal wires (5) of a linear magnetic material extend in the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals in the width direction of the surface fastener. The metal wires (5) are formed in a zigzag shape which turns down in the width direction. Since the metal wires (5) have such a shape, the flexibility of the surface fastener (1) is ensured and a magnetic force between a die and the metal wires (5) increases even if the metal wires have the same magnetism as before. Consequently, the surface fastener (1) comes into tight contact strongly with a foam resin molding die (100) regardless of the irregular surface of the die (100), and does not float from the foam resin molding die (100) nor cause a positional deviation. As a result, a foam resin material (200) does not intrude into the engaging element formation region even during foam molding, and the surface fastener (1) can be molded accurately and integrally at a specified position of a foam body.
