Abstract:
A molded object production method for fabricating a molded object by performing once or multiple times a step for forming a powder layer using a powder material comprising an inorganic compound powder and a step for melting/fusing the powder material by irradiating an energy beam on a specified region of the surface of the powder layer. The method is characterized in that in the step for melting/fusing the powder material, a region with a large proportion of non-crystalline material and a region with a large proportion of crystalline material are created separately by changing at least one of the energy beam output, the relative positions of the surface of the powder layer and the focal point of the energy beam, and the scan rate.
