Abstract:
Provided is an inexpensive molded resin body that is lightweight, has high durability, and can be used for home plumbing equipment. The resin molded body includes a resin structure and a thermally sprayed ceramic coating provided on the surface of at least part of the resin structure. The thermally sprayed ceramic coating is provided on the resin structure in contact with the resin structure or via a foundation layer in contact with the foundation layer. (a) The thermally sprayed ceramic coating and the resin structure or foundation layer in contact with the thermally sprayed ceramic structure have a chromatic color of a similar color, or (b) the thermally sprayed ceramic coating and the resin structure or foundation layer in contact with the thermally sprayed ceramic coating have an achromatic color with little difference in luminosity.
