Abstract:
Provided is a molded resin strand which, even when an inorganic filler such as carbon fibers is contained therein, can give shaped objects having improved fusion bonding between the layers and can have more improved mechanical suitability (in particular, rigidity) for use in 3D printers. The molded resin strand includes a thermoplastic resin and further contains an inorganic filler and an α-olefin elastomer. The thermoplastic resin is, for example, polypropylene. The inorganic filler is, for example, carbon fibers. The α-olefin elastomer is, for example, an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer. The molded resin strand according to the present invention is for use in 3D printers of a fused deposition modeling type.
