Abstract:
This molded surface fastener (1, 1a, 1b, 2, 2a, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) has a base part (11), left and right resin-intrusion-preventing wall parts (20, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100) erectly disposed on the base part (11), and a plurality of engagement elements (12) arranged between the left and right resin-intrusion-preventing wall parts (20, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100). The resin-intrusion-preventing wall parts (20, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100) contain magnetic particles, and at least portions of the resin-intrusion-preventing wall parts (20, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100) and the base part (11) have density-gradient parts (50, 50a-50e) in which the density of the magnetic particles contained is reduced toward at least one direction. The adhesion between the portions containing the magnetic particles and the portions substantially not containing the magnetic particles is thereby increased, and it is possible to inhibit the occurrence of cracking, etc., between the magnetic-particle-containing portions and the non-containing portions during manufacture of the molded surface fastener (1, 1a, 1b, 2, 2a, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and at other times.
