Abstract:
This molded urethane foam comprises a base made of polyurethane foam and composite particles oriented and contained in the base. The composite particles comprise thermally conductive particles made of a nonmagnetic material and having a thermal conductivity of 200 W/m·K or greater and magnetic particles bonded to the surface of the thermally conductive particles with a binder, and have been surface-treated with one or more surfactants selected from among carboxylic acid type surfactants and succinic acid type surfactants. This method for producing the molded urethane foam comprises a step in which raw materials for granulation comprising a powder of the thermally conductive particles, a powder of the magnetic particles, the binder, one or more carboxylic acid type/succinic acid type surfactants, and water are stirred to produce composite particles, a step in which a powder of the composite particles is mixed with a raw material for urethane resin foam to produce a raw-material mixture, and a step in which the raw-material mixture is foamed and molded in a magnetic field.
