Abstract:
Provided is a molding device that holds a rough journal section (Ja) of a rough material (4) using a journal mold (10U, 10B), that moves the journal mold (10U, 10B) and a pin mold (12) in the axial direction toward a fixed mold (9U, 9B) from a state in which the pin mold (12) is applied to a rough pin section (Pa), and that moves the pin mold (12) in a direction that is perpendicular to the axial direction. As a result, a weight-equipped rough arm section (Aa) is sandwiched and pressed in the axial direction until the thickness thereof is reduced to the thickness of a weight-equipped arm section of a forged crankshaft, and the rough pin section (Pa) is pressed in the direction that is perpendicular to the axial direction until the eccentricity thereof is increased to the eccentricity of a pin section of the forged crankshaft.
