Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a molding die and a molding method which enable the high-cycle manufacture of a molded article from a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin fiber composite material, and which enable improved productivity. [Solution] Molding is performed using a molding die for shaping a molded article in cavities formed in a plurality of die sections, the molding die being provided with first temperature adjustment means that are in the proximity of a cavity surface and that can at least cool the cavity surface, and second temperature adjustment means that are on the opposite side of the first temperature adjustment means to the cavity surface and that can at least heat the cavity surface. The distance L0 from each cavity surface to the respective first temperature adjustment means and the distance L1 from each cavity surface to the surface opposite to the cavity surface satisfy (L1/L0)>3.
