Abstract:
In the present invention, in order to show all components at once on a display screen without performing a screen operation such as scrolling even in the case where the font size has been enlarged, a microcomputer 1, when an operator instructs enlargement of the font size of a mode image 100A displayed on a display screen of a display device 5, calculates the sizes and layouts of components 101a-101j and 102a-102f that constitute the mode image 100A; calculates, for each component in accordance with the number of characters displayed in each component, a font size that can be displayed in an enlarged manner in the components without changing the layout of a character string 103 displayed in each component; and displays character strings of the calculated font sizes in the corresponding components.
