Abstract:
A molding material supply system 1 is provided with: a material source storage unit 10 that is depressurized by a vacuum-generating source 15 and is configured so as to be capable of storing molding material in a gas-tight state with respect to external air; a supply unit 35 that is connected so as to be in communication with a material-loading port 5 of a heating cylinder 4 of a synthetic resin molding machine 3, is depressurized along with said heating cylinder by a vacuum-generating source 40, and is for supplying molding material to said heating cylinder in a gas-tight state with respect to external air; a collection/replenishing unit 30 that is for collecting molding material transported from said material source storage unit and is configured so as to be able to replenish molding material to said supply unit so that the degree of depressurization of the supply unit is generally maintained; a gas transfer unit 20 configured so that molding material can be gas-transferred from said material source storage unit to the collection/replenishing unit so that the degree of depressurization of the material source storage unit is generally maintained; and inert gas supply units 16, 36 for supplying inert gas to at least one of a material transport path 22 of the gas transfer unit, the material source storage unit, the collection/replenishing unit, and the supply unit.
