Abstract:
The invention is related to a compression molding system for frozen carbon dioxide particles that comprises a container (13) for storing frozen free carbon dioxide particles; and a compression mechanism (50) having a mold (40) that can be accessed through a top opening (45) located under the container (13) and that contains a dosing compartment (44) forming a space in the shape of a block and a piston (51) that is adapted to move towards the dosing compartment (44) in a compression mode. The molding system comprises a rail (33) on which the mold (40) is removably fixed and that can axially move outside from the compression mechanism (50) in a compression mode.
