Abstract:
Provided is a light emitting-type molding member which can be simply manufactured and assembled and is attached to a belt line of a vehicle. According to the present invention, a belt line molding 4 attached to a belt line of a vehicle comprises a molding member body part 10 and an end cap part 50. In a vehicle outside side wall 11 of the molding member body part 10, a light guide part 30 having a core section 31 and a clad section 32 formed on the surface of the core section 31 is embedded so that the vehicle outside portion of the light guide part 30 exposes, and a portion or the entirety of the vehicle outside surface of the light guide part 30 exposing from the molding member body part 10 is coated with a cover part 40 in which a light scattering member is mixed. Meanwhile, the end cap part 50 has a light source section 60 and a cap section 70 and is assembled to the molding member body part 10.
