Abstract:
Provided is a molding for a vehicle, the molding being mounted to a body part of the vehicle. A clip for mounting the molding body to an edge of the body part is provided with: an insertion-receiving section into which the edge of the body part is inserted; a catch which, while the edge of the body part is inserted in the insertion-receiving section, engages with a catch-engaging section provided at the edge of the body part, thereby preventing the relative movement of the body part in the direction in which the edge comes out; and a pressing section which is elastically deformed by coming into contact with the edge of the body part, the edge having been inserted in the insertion-receiving section, and which, by means of the restoring force of the pressing section, applies force for engaging the catch and the catch-engaging section. As a result, the molding for a vehicle can be reliably mounted to an appropriate position using a simple configuration.
