Abstract:
A household utensil used in the production of food articles, which was developped to provide an efficient solution for the molding of appetizers and similar products, comprises: a base (1) for the closing of the molds; a set of molds (20); a device (40) to form the interior portion and to close the appetizer; said base (1) containing several conic seats (7); each set of molds (2) comprising a cuneiform body which fits in the seat (7) and is formed by two cuneiform halves (21), each one of them with several halves of molds (27) which, when placed within the seat (7) define several molds (27), (27); the device (40) has a conic portion (41) which forms the interior of the dough; a cross piece (42) for supporting and for rotation; and a portion (43) for the molding and closing of the dough, therefore finishing the apetizer product.

CLAIMS
1. IAYOUT IN MOLDS FOR SMALL PASTRY AND SIMILAR CAKES", characterized by a base (1) for the closing of the set of molds; by a set of molds (20); and by a device (40) which form the interior portion and closes the appetizers; with said closing base (1) being constituted by a body with one or more cuneiform seats (7) for the closing of the set of mlds divided; by the inlet portion (8) located on the upper surface (3) of the base; by smaller, vertical, transversal walls (9) which are part of the front (4) and rear (4') faces of the base; by longer, longitudinal walls (10) which extend in the direction from the front face (4) to the rear face (4t) of the bam and which divide the seats one from the other; and by a bottom (11); said trans versal walls (9) have upper edges provided with concave curved indentures (12), for the access to the set of molds (20), mounted on the seat (7); the walls (10), dividing the seats, have biased guiding surfaces (10') turned towards the interior portion of the seats and converging from the inlet portion (8) thereof; The upper faces of the dividing walls (10) are provi ded by two opposite recesses (13) adjacent to the respective seats (7) and formed by a sequence of concave curved portions which limit the regions contiguous to the seats; each respective concave curved opposite recesses are positioned in a corresponding situation of the respective mold (27), (27) of the set of molds (20) which is mounted on the seat (7) and consti tute the support and rotation guidance for the device (40) which form the interior portion and close the appetizers themselves; and i. mnediately be low the corners formed between the upper biased opposite faces (lu') of the dividing walls (10), there are at least two outside wedges (14) to block the set of molds (20) within the seat, located on the opposite biased sur faces (10)' ; each set of molds (20) is constituted by a cuneiform body suf ficient to enter within the respective seat (7) of base (1) and longitudi nally subdivided into two cuneiform halves (21) each one defined by the respective longitudinal, vertical and flat surface (22), which limits with an equal surface of the other half; a longitudinal biased surface (23), op posite to the vertical surface (22) and adjacent to and guided on the bia sed surface (10') of seat (7); upper surface (25), which is lowered in res pect to the inlet plan (8) of the seat (7); and lower surface (26) which is on the bottom (11) of the seat (7); with said vertical flat surface (22) having several half mold (27) excavated which have the configuration, of' longitudinal half of an appetizer, substantially semiconic, with the inlet (28) located on the upper surface (25) and the bottom close to the lower surface (26); around and near the inlet (28) of each half mold (27) there is a recess (29) for guiding the rotation of the device (40) which form the interior portion and closes the appetizers, said device (40) is included, substantially; by a conic portion (41) for the molding of the interior portion of the dough of the appetizer, the width and height of which are selected so that, when introduced within a mold (27), (27), it will define a space re alative to its surface; by an intermediate plate (42) which limits the penetration of the portion (41) in the mold (27), (27) and rotation guide, with said plate having its lenght determined in such a way that its ends remain supported on the upper recessed portions of the walls (10) and convex curved ends which adjust themselves to the concave curved opposite portions of the guiding recess (13); and by an opposite and portion (43) of molding the closing of the appetizers, which is constituted by a cylinder which fits the recess (29) around the mouth (28) of the mold (27), (27) and has the concave semispherical molding (44) turned towards the last one.
2. LAYOUT IN MOLDS FOR SMALL PASTRY AND SIMILAR CAKES", as per the claim 1, characterized by the fact that closing base (1) may be any number of the closing seats (7).
3. LAYOUT IN MOLDS FOR SMALL PASTRY AND SIMILAR CAKES", as per the claim 1, characterized by the fact that the set of molds (20) may have any num ber of molds (27), (27).
4. LAYOUT IN MOLDS FOR SMALL PASTRY AND SIMILAR CAKES", as per the claim 1, characterized by the fact that the vertical flat surfaces (22) of the halves (21) of the set of molds (20) have several halves of molds (27) excavated with the longitudinal configuration of half appetizer; substan tially semiconic, which upon being jointed define the molds (27), (27) with the substantially conic shape of the appetizer.
Description:
MOLDS FOR SMALL PASTRY AND SIMILAR CAKES FIELD OF THE INVENTION This descriptive report is related to a patent of utility model for molds used for small pastry cakes and similar cakes, included in the field of household utensils used in the production of food articles, which received a new layout, in order to improve its utilization and efficiency, when comparing to other conventional ones.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION As it is known, the dishes most commonly used in parties and other events are small appetizers. Such products are usually formed by a conic shaped dough portion with a filling. The manual molding of said appetizers is relatively difficult, with low productivity, and may create defects in the shape.

Considering such difficulties, several utensils have been proposed in order to help the molding of these products. However, up to now we do not have a fully satisfactory utensil of such a type, either because their manufacture is relatively difficult and expensive and/or their use is difficult and/or they do not mold the appetizers in the desired shape and/or due to other problems which should be eliminated.

In view of the above mentioned problems and in order to emilinate them, this new layout for molds for small pastry and similar cakes was develcped, object of this present patent of utility model, the construction, operation and advantages of which are described below, based upon the attached dnavirg, in which: Figure 1 is a perspective of the utility model, with the parties shown se- parately; Figure 2 is a detail of the mold, in section, where the mold itself is shown, part of a set of molds, shown on a closing base, with the mold containing a portion of the dough which will form the final appetizer pro- tuct; Figure 3 shows the same detail and the procedure for forming the internal hole in the dough, which will receive the filling; Figure 4 shows the same detail of the figures above and the procedure to put the filling in said hole of the dough; Figure 5 shows the same detail of the figures above and the procedure for the closing of the appetizer product and its filling;

Figure 6 shows the same detail of the figures above and the procedure for taking the set of molds, with the appetizer products in them, from the closing base; and Figure 7 shows the same detail of the figures above and the procedure for the taking the products out from the molds.

Following the figures listed above, the mold object of this patent for utility model is destined to produce appetizers, including: a portion of dough 90 (Fig. 5) and the filling 91, which is within the dough; such mold is formed substantially by a base 1 for the closing of the set of molds; by the set of molds 20; and by a device 40 which form the internal hole and which closes the appetizers.

The closing base 1 is constituted by a prismatic body defined by the upper face 3, by the front 4 and rear faces 4' ; by lateral faces 5,5' ; and by the botton face 6, having also one or more cuneiform seats 7 for the closing of the set of molds, with such seats being laid with their length along the front face 4 up to the rear face 4'and with their width, side by side, defined by the inlet portion 8 located in the upper face 3; by smaller vertical, transversal walls 9, which are part of the front and rear faces e, 4'of the base; by longer longitudinal walls 10 which are in the same direction from the front face 4 to the rear face 4'of the base, and which separate the seats one from the other; and by the bottom portion 11; with said transversal walls 9 having upper edges provided with concave indentures 12, for the access to the set of molds 20, mounted os the seat 7; the walls 10 which separate the seats have viased guiding surfaces 10'turned towards the interior of the seat and converging from the inlet 8 thereof; the upper faces of the dividing salls 10 present two opposite recesses 13 adjacent to the respective seats 7 and formed by a series of concave curve portions which limit the continuous regions cf the seats; each pair of said portions contiguos to the seats and respective concave curved opposite recesses are positioned in a corresponding situa- tion of the respective molf 27,27 of the set of molds 20 which is mlvded on the seat 7 and constitute the support and rotation guidance for the device 40 which form the interior portion and close the appetizers' themselves; and immediately below the corners formed between the upper biased opposite faces 10'of the dividing walls 10, there are at least two outside wedges 14 to block the set of molds 20 within the seat, located

on the opposite biased surfaces 10'.

Each set of molds 20 is constituted by a cuneiform body which is suffi- cient to enter within the respective seat 7 of the base 1 and is longitudi nally subdivided into two cuneiform halves 21, each one defined by the respective longitudinal, vertical and flat surface 22, which limits with an equal surface of the other half; 2 longitudinal biased surface 23 op- posite to the vertical surface 22 and adjacent to and guided on the biased surface 10'of seat 7; The transversal surfaces 24 which are adjacent to the trabsversal walls 9 of the seat 7; upper surface 25, which is lowered in respect to the inlet plan 8 of the seat 7; and lower surface 26 which is on the bottom 11 of the seat 7; with said vertical flat surface 22 having several half mold 27 excavated which have the configuration of lon- gitudinal half of an appetizer, substantially semi-conic, with the inlet 28 located on the upper surface 25 and the bottom close to the lower surface 26; around and near the inlet 28 of each half mold 27 there is a recess 29 for guiding the rotation of the device 40 which form the interior portion and closes the appetizers and closes also the distance between said device 40 and the base 1.

The device 40 for forming the interior portion and close the appetizers is constituted substantiallu by a conic, final portion 41 for the molding of the interior portion of the dough, with selected width and height so that, when introduced within a mold 27,27, ir will define a space relative to its surface; by an intermediate plate 42 which limits the penetration of the portion 41 in the mold 27,27 and rotation guide, with said plate' having its lenght determined in such a way that its ends remain supporte on the upper recessed portions of the walls 10 and convex curved ends vhich adjust themselves to the concave curved opposite portions of the guiding recess 13; and by an opposite end portion 43 of molding the closing of the appetizers, which is constituted by a cylinder which fits the recess 29 around the mouth 28 of the mold 27,27 and has the concave semi-spherical molding 44 turned towards the last one.

Therefore, in order to use the mold as described above, the two halves 21 pf the set of molds 20 are jointed with the flat surfaces 22 one against the other, introducing the set in the respective seat 7 of the base l, u « 2l the upper surface of the set of molds 20 locks under the wedges 14.

Afterwards, the molds 27,27 are defined with the conic configuration of

the appetizer product. Then (Fig. 2) said molds are carried with the appropriate portion of doungh 90.

In a second stage (Fig. 3), the portion 41 for the interior molding of the appetizer is introduced in the dough 90, therefore forming a conic recess.

Then (Fig. 4) the recess receives the filling.

The excess of dough (Fig. 5), formed upon the molding of the interior por- tion of the product, are turned upward on the filling and said excess por- tion, with or without an extra portion of the dough, form the closing g which is molded in a hemispheric shape with the help of the cylindrical' portion 43 of the device 40, the mouth of which is ajusted in the recess 29 around the mouth 28 of the mold 27,27, the dough remains within the con- cave hemispheric surface 44, the ends of the cross piece 42 support them- selves on the recessed regions, by the curve portions of the recesses 13, of the walls 10 of seat 7 and with the help of the interior molding por- tion 41, said device 40 is turned, therefore molding the closing of the appetizer (Fig. 5).

The set of molds 20, with the newly molded appetizers, is withdrawn from the seat (Fig. 6) and one of its halves 21 is detached (Fig. 7) therefore liberating the product, already formed, to be taken to the subsequent pha- se of preparation.

This construction and operation of the mold solves the inconvenience of the usual other constructions, for it is obtained starting from techniques fully known by the companies who work in the field.

Another advantages offered by this mold is its extreme facility of use, even by those with less knowledge and practice in the preparation os appe- tizers.

We should further consider that this mold, due to the special design which practocally does not allow it to use inappropriate way, allows the molding of appetizers and similar products with a quality capable of complying with the expectations of all persons interested in this type of product.

Within the basic construction described above, the mold object of this utility model may have changes relative to materials, dimensions, construc tion details and/or configuration, without leaving the scope of the q4Aied for protection.

This considered, the mold is made preferably from injected plastic. Since it has any number of set of molds 20, four in the shown example. Each set

20 may have appropriate number os molds 27,27, five in the example shown.

The configuration of the molds 27,27 is preferably conic, as shown, but it have any other shapes. This present mold is destined to produce appetizers, but it may be used to form any other type of products, sweet or salted.

The volume of the molds 27,27 may be changed, as necessary.
