Title:
MOLECULAR MODULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/069232
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a general-purpose experimental tool capable of specifically
binding to a polymer which becomes a receptor for a specific ligand such as a medicament
and applicable throughout various processes for searching properties thereof.
In order to achieve this object, a molecular module which binds to a target compound
and is used for purifying or labeling the compound was developed. The molecular
module is characterized in that it has a rod-like structural substance, an interacting
substance which interacts with a target compound, a tag and a labeling substance,
the interacting substance is located at one end of the rod-like structural substance,
and the tag and the labeling substance are located at the other end of the rod-like
structural substance.
