Abstract:
The invention relates to a molten salt-type off gas purification catalyst and off gas purification filter. The invention is a molten salt-type off gas purification catalyst characterized in comprising, as catalytic components: a first compound metal oxide of cesium and vanadium; and a sulfate containing cesium and an alkaline earth metal. The invention is also an off gas purification filter using the molten salt-type off gas purification catalyst. The molten salt-type off gas purification catalyst and off gas purification filter of the invention do not use a platinum-group metal and improve durability over that of conventional molten salt-type catalysts, and are therefore useful for a catalytic DPF used in the purification of off gas from a diesel engine, and the like.
