Abstract:
The present invention relates to a molten steel treatment device and a molten steel treatment method using the same, the method comprising the processes of: preparing slag at an upper part of a molten steel; contacting at least a part of the slag with a first electrode and at least a part of the molten steel with a second electrode; and applying a voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode to polarize the slag. Therefore, the present invention can control the basicity and oxidation of the slag without using a separate additive material, thereby easily removing an inclusion and an impure element from the molten steel.
