Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to use a toothed belt in a conveyance mechanism which has a junction conveyance path within a conveyance path of a money automatic teller machine, for both conveyance of paper currency and motive power transmission. Provided is a money automatic teller machine, comprising: a first conveyance path which conveys paper currency (2), sandwiched between a toothed belt (19) which is suspended upon a drive rotating toothed pulley (17) and a driven rotating toothed pulley (18) and conveyance rollers (33a-23d, 26a, 26b) which are disposed in opposition to the toothed belt (19); second conveyance paths, formed from flat belts (27a-27c) which branch off from the first conveyance path and are suspended upon the conveyance rollers (24a-24c); and junction gates (22a, 22b, 22c) for the second conveyance paths. The money automatic teller machine is configured such that the motive power of the toothed belt (19) is transmitted via the gears (23a-23c) and the gears (23a-23c) so as to rotate the flat belts (27a-27c) of the second conveyance path.
