Abstract:
A money storage apparatus (10, 70) is provided with a mounting section (17, 76) into which a cassette (50, 51) is to be mounted; a storage section (32, 80) that stores money taken out from the cassette (50, 51); and a cassette flap releasing unit (20, 90) that unlocks a flap (58) of the cassette (50, 51) that is locked, and opens the unlocked flap (58) at a position above an opening of the storage section (32).
