Abstract:
A monitor video distribution device and a method. The monitor video distribution device comprises a monitor terminal, a monitor server, a media processing device, an encoding and decoding device, and a camera; a video stream to the encoding and decoding device is not re-established when calling the video of a monitor site by a divisional monitor terminal is achieved; and instead, the video stream is distributed to the divisional monitor terminal after a video comparison processing is performed directly in the media processing device, thus saving video stream data; and furthermore, the subsequent calling of the camera video of the monitor site by any monitor terminal is achieved by distributing data after a comparison processing is carried out in the media processing device, thus breaking the limitation of calls of the video of a monitor site; due to the reduced signaling message establishment process and video stream transmission process with a large data volume, a video stream calling processing mechanism of the media processing device to camera resources is optimized within a limited bandwidth, and thus bandwidth usage efficiency is improved.
