Abstract:
In the present invention, when a monitored person not carrying a portable terminal or the like leaves for a prescribed location, a suitable message corresponding to the circumstances is transmitted from a monitoring party to a monitored party. A monitoring assistance device (1) registers biometric information about a monitored party and contact information for a monitoring party in association with a plurality of messages pertaining to individual authentication circumstances, acquires a first captured image of the monitored party captured by a first authentication terminal installed in a prescribed location, and controls a first biometrics authentication of the first captured image. When the first biometrics authentication is successful, said monitoring assistance device (1) determines the authentication circumstances, identifies from among a plurality of messages associated with the biometric information that caused the first biometrics authentication to be successful a message corresponding to the determined authentication circumstances, and sends the identified message to the first authentication terminal as notification.
