Abstract:
The invention relates to a monitoring and/or control system, consisting of at least one communications box and a database server, which communicate with one another via a bi-directional terminal connection. Said communications box comprises a positional determination device, a communications modem for communicating with the database server via the terminal connection, at least one input for environmental data, a cellular modem for establishing a LAN connection, in addition to a programmable controller with a memory unit, said controller being connected to the positional determination device, the communications modem, the input(s) and the cellular modem. The database server is equipped with means for displaying data of the communications box or boxes, in addition to means for controlling the programmable controller of the communications box or boxes.
