The monitoring device for a fermentation system (9) comprises a flow passage (1), a detection module (2), and a cleaning system (3); a fluid to be detected in the fermentation system (9) flows through the flow passage (1); the detection module (2) is provided in the flow passage (1) and comprises a microscope module (21); the cleaning system (3) comprises a cleaning device (31) to selectively control the cleaning device (31) to communicate with the flow passage (1).
