Abstract:
A monitoring device (200) according to the present invention sets a ring protection link (RPL) to each network device constituting a communication network through Ethernet ring protection (ERP). The monitoring device (200) is provided with an RPL determining unit (201) that determines an RPL on the basis of communication path band variations. A monitoring device capable of effectively using a varying band can thus be provided.
