Abstract:
A monitoring device (120) is provided to a building (100) where an elevator (110) is installed, and communicates with a center via an IP network (401). The monitoring device (120) is provided with a communication unit (143) and a selection unit (133). The communication unit (143) can perform wireless communication in a plurality of communication modes. The selection unit (133) selects a connection mode on the basis of a first evaluation value and a second evaluation value. The communication unit (143) transmits, to the center in the connection mode, audio data and state data indicating the state of the elevator (110).
