Abstract:
A monitoring and protection apparatus and method for an electric field coupling wireless charging system. The monitoring and protection apparatus comprises a wireless charging system as well as a charged device parameter monitoring apparatus and a charging apparatus parameter monitoring apparatus which are used for monitoring and protecting the wireless charging system; and when a charging process begins, a charged device sends a rated voltage, current and working temperature range of a storage battery to a charging apparatus, and during the charging process, the charged device detects the charging voltage, current and working temperature in real time and sends same to the charging apparatus. The charging apparatus monitors the working current, voltage and working temperature per se at the same time, and a controller on the charging apparatus switches off a charging circuit by means of a relay so as to guarantee the safety of the charging system during the charging process and displays a reason on a display. Reliability and rapidness in detection can be realized, and charging safety is guaranteed.
