Abstract:
This monitoring-subject monitoring system is equipped with an imaging unit, a measurement unit, a storage unit, a first storage processing unit, a detection unit, and a second storage processing unit. The imaging unit images the monitoring subject while the subject is sleeping. The measurement unit measures the amount which the sleeping subject moves concurrently with the imaging. The first storage processing unit performs a first process for setting a time period during which the movement amount of the sleeping subject is at or below a prescribed amount as a recording time period, and storing the images of the monitoring subject captured by the imaging unit during the recording time period in the storage unit. The detection unit detects the sleep posture, which is the posture in which the monitoring subject is sleeping, on the basis of the images stored in the storage unit during the first process. The second storage processing unit performs a second process for storing the sleep posture information, which indicates the sleep posture detected by the detection unit, in the storage unit.
