Abstract:
Provided are a monitoring system, monitoring method, monitoring program, and recording medium for the same, with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of predicting the danger to a monitoring subject. A monitoring system 1, provided with: a sensing unit including an area-sensing unit 121a and a status-sensing unit 121b for sensing the area in which a monitoring subject 9 is present and the status of the monitoring subject 9 as elements for specifying an event relating to the monitoring subject 9; a determining unit 124 for determining the event relating to the monitoring subject 9 on the basis of the elements of an event sensed by the sensing unit; and storage units 130, 240 for storing combinations in which at least the status and the area in which the monitoring subject 9 is present are associated with events relating to the monitoring subject 9. The determining unit 124 is configured to compare the change in at least the status and the area sensed by the sensing unit with the combinations stored in the storage units 130, 240 and determine the event relating to the monitoring subject 9.
