Abstract:
Provided are a monitoring system, monitoring method, monitoring program, and recording medium for the same, with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of predicting the danger to a monitoring subject. A monitoring system 1, provided with: a first measurement unit 122a for measuring movement in a first region 411 in which a monitoring subject 9 is present; a second measurement unit 122b for measuring movement in a second region 412 in which the monitoring subject 9 is not present, the second region 412 being different from the first region 411; and a control unit 120 configured to acquire the change over time in the difference between the movement in the first region 411 measured by the first measurement unit 122a and the movement in the second region 412 measured by the second measurement unit 122b. The control unit 120 is further configured to determine whether or not the change over time in the difference in the movement follows a predefined pattern or change amount.
