Abstract:
Provided is a monitoring system, comprising: a schedule storage unit which stores schedule information in which a combination of facial identification information which identifies respective facial images of two or more users is associated with interval information which indicates an interval in which the two or more users use an information processing device; an image capture unit which captures an image of the users who use the information processing device; a user determination unit which, on the basis of the captured image which the image capture unit has captured and the schedule information which the schedule storage unit stores, determines, in the interval which the interval information indicates, whether all of the users corresponding to the combination of the facial identification information which is stored in association with the interval information and the users contained in the captured image match; and a use control unit which, on the basis of the result of the determination which the user determination unit has made, controls whether to permit the use of the information processing device.
