Abstract:
Provided is a technology for monitoring train doors which achieves monitoring with substantially no downtime when any of a plurality of monitoring cameras has failed. First to fourth monitoring cameras 11-14 attached to the outside of a vehicle respectively monitor first to fourth vehicle doors 71-74. The first monitoring camera 11 and the second monitoring camera 12, and the third monitoring camera 13 and the fourth monitoring camera 14 are respectively set in pairs. If the first monitoring camera 11 fails, the second monitoring camera 12 images areas of both the first vehicle door 71 and the second vehicle door 72, and trims and extracts each of the areas.
