Abstract:
Disclosed is a monitoring system for monitoring a monitored system. The monitoring system includes one or more memory devices for storing a program, and one or more processors which operate in accordance with a program. The one or more processors determine the estimation value of a monitored target variable for the monitored system, on the basis of a causal structure model of the monitored system and measurement data included in test data for the monitored system. The one or more processors assess, on the basis of the result of comparing a measured value of the monitored target variable included in the test data and the estimation value, whether or not a fault is occurring in the monitored system.
