Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to promptly detect signs of malfunction in a steam-using device by accurately estimating the suitability of the operational state of the steam-using device. Provided is a monitoring system (M) for steam-using equipment, the system comprising a steam-using device (4), wherein the monitoring system is composed of: a control state detector (D1) that detects the state of a steam controller (1) disposed in steam piping (2) attached to the steam-using device (4); and an operational state estimation means (S) that is equipped with a signal input unit (S1) into which detection signals (σi) are input from the control state detector (D1), and an operational state estimation unit (S2) that estimates the operational state of the steam-using device (4) on the basis of one input detection signal (σi) or a previously established specific combination of detection signals (σi).
