Abstract:
A monitoring system for a work machine 101 comprises a monitoring device 100 which, upon receiving a first signal, performs monitoring to see if the work machine 101 is in an area, and, upon receiving a second signal, ceases the monitoring. The work machine 101 comprises at least: a communication device 45A for transmitting the first signal and the second signal to the monitoring device 100; a first instruction member which, by being operated, instructs the communication device 45A to transmit the first signal; and a second instruction member which, by being operated when the monitoring device 100 is monitoring the work machine 101, instructs the communication device 45A to transmit the second signal.
