Abstract:
This monitoring system (1) is provided with an axle load measurement unit (300) and a state estimation unit (400). The axle load measurement unit (300) detects the road surface displacement of a travel road (101) that a vehicle (130) is traveling through on the basis of a first photographed image in which the travel road (101) has been photographed at the point in time when the vehicle (130) has passed through a prescribed point on a structure (102) having the travel road (101) and calculates the axle load of the vehicle (130) from the road surface displacement and a displacement coefficient. The state estimation unit (400) generates an axle load distribution from axle loads calculated by the axle load measurement unit (300) and uses the axle load distribution to estimate the degree of deterioration of the structure (102).
